Frankfurt, 14.11.2014
On 15 November 2014, DIC will start letting the flats at “MainTor Patio,” (at Seckbächer Gasse 5 in Frankfurt), one of two residential development projects at the new “MainTor Quarter,” the other one being “MainTor Palazzi.” Construction started in April 2013, and the 92 apartments will be ready for occupation by mid-2015. Even at this point, though, interested parties may view fully furnished one- and two-bedroom show flats. The building itself was sold to the Ärzteversorgung Westfalen-Lippe pension fund via an institutional fund of Patrizia WohnInvest in 2012.
Spread across seven floors and characterised by smart floor plans, the flats have one to four bedrooms, and are 26 to 118 sqm in size. Rent rates range from 15 to 23 euros per square metre. The building is located directly next to the block's central plaza, and combines high-end residential accommodation with a highly expressive architectural design and a superior fit-out standard.
Kai M. Dreesbeimdiek, the Managing Director at DIC in charge of the project: “The interest shown in the rental flats is already more or less on a level with the interest in the virtually sold out condominiums in the Palazzi buildings. The realisation of the MainTor Quarter continues to progress as planned.”
The real estate consultancy firm "NAI apollo living" was contracted to handle the marketing of the Patio apartments, which are let without charging an estate agent's fee.
About „MainTor Patio“
“MainTor Patio,” an eight-storey block of flats, epitomises the new way of living in the city: Located downtown and right next to the Main River but well away from major traffic arteries, the Patio tower overlooks the plaza of the MainTor Quarter, the tranquil and yet vibrant heart of the estate. Patio comprises around 6,000 sqm of lettable area and 131 spaces in the underground car park. The 92 premium apartments account for around 5,200 sqm of floor area, supplemented by around 800 sqm of commercial floor area. The building's clever floor plans combine privacy with options for communal interaction among its residents. Each apartment comes with a high-end fit-out, and features either a balcony, patio or loggia. The K4 Personal Training & Coaching GmbH gym and a restaurant in a separate section on the ground floor of the building are complemented by expanded shopping and leisure options right in the MainTor estate or within walking distance to cover the entire spectrum of non-discretionary needs. Planned by the architectural firm of KSP Jürgen Engel Architekten, the building's design meets the German KfW 70 sustainability standard.

About MainTor – the Riverside Financial District
The MainTor Quarter project of Deutsche Immobilien Chancen Group is nothing less than a complete redevelopment of the area extending from Untermainkai to Weissfrauenstrasse. In the process of redeveloping the formerly enclosed brownfield compound of Degussa, the area is being restored to public use, with historic access ways from the inner city to the Main riverbank revitalised and firmly integrated into the lanes and streets of the surrounding city quarter. The construction is realised in several spatially and temporally distinct building projects, thereby ensuring the necessary flexibility to accommodate the specific requirements of each user and investor group. Architectonically speaking, the MainTor Quarter will upgrade this bank of the Main, which faces Frankfurt's CBD, into a riverside financial district and thereby complete it in urban development terms. The successive construction stages will be realised incrementally in sync with the upcoming lettings and sales. The entire MainTor Quarter is scheduled to be operational by 2016.
