The Bienenkorbhaus (bee-hive building) is one of the best-known buildings on the Zeil in Frankfurt, the second most frequented shopping area in Germany.

Under the management of the DIC project developers, this prime site property was revitalised and re-developed through the modernisation and extension of the retail and office spaces.

The development was completed in spring 2009. Shoe retailer Görtz as main tenant is occupying the reshaped basement with a floor space of 2,400 sqm.

In October 2012, DIC Asset AG sold the renowned Bienenkorbhaus for a total transaction volume of approximately 75 million Euros to RFR Holding GmbH within the framework of a share deal.
