DIC had acquired the 19th-century, formerly French casino complex in the city center of Trier in spring 2003.

The building complex which is classified as historical was redesigned and completed by extensive refurbishment and restructuring measures as well as a newly-built complex by the end of 2004.

Following the successful development and lease, the property has been sold to a British investor group.
