In December 2004, in conjunction with Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds, the DIC Group purchased a portfolio of 57 properties in Frankfurt and the immediate vicinity from Frankfurter Sparkasse.

  Successful sale of 14 properties
  Renovation and modernization (including the property on  Goethestraße Frankfurt)

  Start of construction work on the conversion of the former headquarters into the future home of Frankfurt Central Library
  In December 2006, more than 20 properties were placed with a French real estate investor.
• 2007
  Completion of renovation work on Frankfurt's new City library completed on schedule a mere ten months
  Official opening by city's Mayor Petra Roth took place in September 2007

  Revitalisation and expansion of the Bienenkorbhaus starts

  Completion of the Bienenkorbhaus development, reopening and handing over to tenants
